3 WAYS TO STYLE CHUNKY SWEATERS

It’s finally starting to feel like fall and what better way to embrace it other than wearing chunky sweaters? I own a million of chunky sweaters during this time of year because it’s such an easy way to stay warm and layer up. I love looking for different prints, colors and styles because practically every retail store will carry them. It is quite common for people to just wear chunky sweaters with jeans but I thought it’d be a good idea to show you how you can style them in three different ways.

1.  Skirt: Throwing on a skirt is the perfect way to way to complement any fall sweater. I love being able to maintain my girly side even if it’s cold so you can always layer up with some stockings. I also think people should own a leather skirt in their wardrobe because it’s a perfect piece that balances of femininity and and edginess. The leather fabric contrasts with the knitted sweater helps to bring more grunginess to a stylish, fashion-forward look. It can easily bring a day look to a night look without the extra fuss. My advice is to find leather skirts with metallic or lace accents to bring the outfit to the next level. 2. Black Skinny Jeans: This is a timeless look that anyone can pull off for fall. A pair of skinny jeans help to bring shape to your body in and contrasts with the large cozy sweater. A simple style tip would be to tuck the front of the sweater into the jeans because this will give you an effortless and causal feel. The look can be easily accented with a statement belt for an extra metallic flair. Large sweaters have a tendency of making it look like they are wearing you instead of you wearing them, but fitted pieces help accent other parts of your body.
3. Vinyl Fabric: Vinyl has made a comeback for this fall and the fabric is perfect for pairing with a chunky knit sweater. It is a gorgeous way to bring something extra to any autumn look. Any vinyl piece is a statement that draws your eye in, but the softness of a large knit sweater is perfect to offset that. While the reflective fabric gives the feeling of sexiness, the sweater complements it very well by bringing a more girl-next-door feminine vibe. Ultimately the entire look is perfect for fall if you want to bring a little more wow factor to a typical cozy outfit.
