5 FASHION TRENDS TO WATCH OUT FOR

After a whirlwind of a year, it’s time to look back at some of the most iconic fashion trends of 2018, along with some of the newest breakout trends of 2019! This past year was filled with lots of plaid, logos, chunky sneakers, and even transparent clothing. However, 2019 is breaking out the energizing colors, unique art-infused patterns, and lots of feathers! Let’s dive in to some of the trends that will forever stay in 2018, and look at some of the new eye-popping trends that will blossom in 2019!

• Dad Sneakers – Staying in 2018, very comfortable, hard to pull off and style with outfits, may transition into upgraded/fancier versions of sneakers instead of the thick/chunkier sneaker in 2019.

   

• Tiny Sunglasses – Staying in 2018, dominated by supermodels, very big in the Summer, didn’t fully cover eyes, only used as accessory and not for actual sun block.

   

• The Fanny Pack – Huge 2018 comeback trend, staying in 2019, all over runways in Spring 2018, styled in multiple different ways, also called “belt-bag”.

   

• Neon – Staying in 2019, bright green, pink, orange, or any energizing colors, huge on instagram, might be one of the biggest beauty trends of 2019.
• Feather Details – Staying in 2019, very popular on the runways for Spring 2019, eye-popping and fancy, brings unique and dramatic looks to 2019  

Even though extra tiny sunglasses was a fun fad while it lasted, and chunky dad sneakers were the new “comfortable, but chic” trend, it’s looking like bright neon and intricate patterns will be the new theme of 2019!
