It doesn’t matter if you like your style for the office or a night out, a bit of style tips never hurt nobody. Since confidence is the thing we all strive for and hope to achieve, it is very important that we feel very comfortable in our own clothes, and of course, to be very trendy and follow fashion in the best way possible. This article will try to cut down all the outfit combos to the five best that all successful women wear, and love to wear. If you have nothing better to wear next week, try this out. There are five combinations for the five days of the following week, so accept this challenge.
Monday: Black with a twist
It’s a well-known fact that black is a colour that will never go out of style. That is why many of us tend to turn to this legendary colour in lack of other outfit ideas, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be like that. Black really is a colour that we should very often turn to, as everything looks better in combination with black. For example, one of the best combinations of successful women is definitely a black dress or black jeans and a black top, combined with a printed bag or signature accessories. So choose the most colourful or interesting bag you have, pair it up with all-black attire and there you go!
Tuesday: The blue Oxford
Even though “The Blue Oxford” might be a good title for a thriller movie, this time, we’re talking about the legendary blue Oxford shirt. It’s bizarre how many things you can do with literally one piece of clothing – from channelling your inner Princess Diana to being a soccer mom, footballer’s wife or a to-die-for femme fatale, this shirt is great in many, many occasions. You can pair it with jeans, but if you want to go more Nina Garcia or Reese Witherspoon, choosing a skirt might be a great choice. Add strappy heels to the combination and you have an excellent combo for a day out.
Wednesday: Vivacious colours
Even though floral dresses are, once again, a huge hit for springtime, perhaps the most popular method of combining colours nowadays is colour blocking, meaning combining many different colours in one combination. How does that work? Basically, you want to have each piece of clothing a different colour, but you need to make sure that every colour is on the opposite side of the spectrum. At the end, matching an excellent and minimalistic bag to the colour blocking combination is the right way to go. For those who might have a problem with this – you shouldn’t be ashamed to use a colour wheel.
Thursday: Skinny and pointy
Something that has been in fashion for years now – skinny jeans and pointed-toe heels. Victoria Beckham, who is probably one of the world’s most popular fashion gurus, loves to rock this look, and so should you. Wearing a black top combined with simple skinny jeans and black pointed-toe heels is never a failure.
Friday: Elegance in a skirt
And finally, the last but certainly not the least combo of a successful woman is the legendary pencil skirt. This skirt is a lifesaver – it matches perfectly with everything (baggy, skinny, you name it), and is a classic that will be here for many, many years to come. The positive side of the pencil skirt is that it looks formal practically always, but still has that small dose of rebellious and casual. That’s probably the reason it’s so popular and worn by so many successful women, such as, once again, the Beckham diva.
There you go – these are the combinations that you should wear the following week. Try this out, and you’ll definitely see the way people look at you. They might even ask you for a piece of fashion advice!
