5 WAYS TO STYLE TRACKPANTS

I’m sure you’ve all seen the track pants trend and I actually love it because as you all know, I’m a huge fan of comfort chic and there’s no better way than to dress down than with track pants. Track pants are also a great way to elongate the legs or add some flair to an otherwise simple outfit. I’m a petite girl so I love the options I have with track pants since I can go with a more comfy look styled with sneakers or a more elegant look styled with boots.

1. Off the shoulder blouse: This is such an incredibly easy way to pull off track pants, but it is actually a look I came up with pretty last minute. I decided to style my pants with a red top since it matches o the stripes on the pants, which is a simple and sleek way to look incredibly stylish and put together. Tops with bell sleeves also help offset the slimming effect that the pants create, creating an altogether chic look. The final product has a feminine flair that is perfect for this season.

   
   

2.  Plain basic t-shirt: The plain basic tee is a timeless piece that everyone has in their closet. Throwing on a simple shirt will put all the focus on the statement pants. No matter what color the the pants are, the bold statement will have you pulling off a awesome, urban look. Throw on a beanie and layer on some chokers to perfect the edgy ensemble. You can also upgrade the look even further with a graphic tee and some platform shoes for an even grungier look.

3.  Bright Colors/Fabrics: Bright colors are a perfect way to make an formerly athletic piece feminine and girly. Pair them with a simple blouse or a dark bodysuit. It helps to give the image of those supermodel long legs, especially for those of us on the petite side (like me!). Just by changing the shoes, it raises the sophistication of the entire outfit. This is great especially if you want to turn an outfit from day to night, but don’t want wear a slinky cocktail dress. These pants will keep you looking chic and comfy all night.
