I love Hudson River Park in the summer because it’s a great way to relax and unwind. A lot of people come here for an evening run or walk. The scenery is amazing, especially during sunsets. I took these photos with my iphone camera and wanted to capture the railing perspective. Sure, it may not look like anything magical, but for me, it’s all about capturing beauty in its simplest form. I mean just look at the colors of the sky. I couldn’t edit that even if I wanted to.
What amazes me is the natural beauty that surrounds our world. Living in New York City, it’s so easy to get caught up with the fast pace, the errands, the constant movement and shoveling, but it’s moments like these where I am able to actually sit down, look around and appreciate where I live.
