I am obsessed with the olive green color. I know this is more of an Autumn color, but I thought it was still spring appropriate when I chose this piece from the W by Worth showroom. I love the length because it’s just above my knees, but not right above my ankles. I am also petite, so this dress fits me perfectly. Most dresses, especially long ones, tend to swallow me up so I was very pleased by how this fell on my body.
It was raining on this particular day in Hong Kong so I decided a plaid flannel (affiliate link) would help cover me up and give me a little more character. I also bought this adorable black backpack from Temple Street Night Market and couldn’t wait to wear it. It’s also the perfect size as it fits my Nikon camera and all my essentials. *Other alternatives to this backpack can be found in affiliate link one and affiliate link two.
My jewelry are from Rocksbox and you can use my code ‘mariannyipxoxo’ to get your first month of jewelry for free. The bracelet in particular is the Kendra Scott Lawson Cuff Bracelet in Crushed Abalone Shell and you can buy it here (affiliate link). Overall, I felt very comfortable in this look. I don’t think this outfit makes me look like a complete tourist because I definitely felt like I blend in with my back pack and comfortable attire. I think a great styling tip would be bringing a flannel or some type of cardigan when you are traveling due to the unpredictable weather. Whenever it got warm, I just tied the flannel around my waist and it still looked fashionable or you can choose to wear it as part of the overall outfit.
