EFFORTLESSLY CHIC

If I can describe my style in two words, it would be effortlessly chic. I love wearing items that make me look put together, but I also want to come off like I didn’t try too hard. Today I am showing you a very basic way to attain this type of look. It involves a very basic item that is easily accessible in stores and you probably already have these in your closet.

Long behold, it’s black high waisted pants. Now, these don’t have to be black in particular, but I think you can never go wrong with black and it’s such a neutral and versatile color to style. I got these beautiful pants from Sheinside and I am absolutely in love with them. I was going for a bold, sophisticated night look, but there are definitely ways to wear this for the day, such as switching the red top for a lighter color like white. My favorite thing about high waisted pants is that it makes me look taller. I am petite, so I love clothing that elongates my body and gives me an extra inch here or there.

I obviously wore heels to give me more height, but I think this outfit is super comfortable and I feel very confident with this pairing. My favorite items, which never gets old, are definitely high waisted pants and crop tops. This look is very me and I tend to stick with this same style but with different pieces.
