I’ve been seeing overall dresses in stores and on Instagram and think they’re super adorable, so I decided to pick one up myself! I think overalls are a classic as they go back to the 90s look, but I love how there’s a modern twist to the style now and people are wearing either dress or shorts version of them.

Instead of sticking with the typical denim material and color, I opt for a white one from Romwe. I think it’s perfect for the summer because it’s a very laid back look that you can wear to any summer activity like the pool, BBQ, or picnic. I wanted to keep this look outdoor and warm weather inspired, so I just wore a bandeau underneath and some sandal heels. You can also wear a bikini top instead as it makes the overall dress as a cover up.

This is definitely a fun item and I would pack this for a vacation or weekend getaway. It’s an item that you can just put on when you have nothing to wear or simply don’t want to wear too much. Since July is right around the corner, I just wanted to touch up on the idea of summer. I’m sure everybody loves this season because it’s warm out and there’s so much to do! The only problem is that summer literally flies by and it really only lasts for two months, July and August. I encourage you to take advantage of the weather and be outdoor as much as possible.

I feel like everyone is happier in the summer, at least I know I am. Wake up early, stay out late, go out on weekdays. Do whatever it is that you want because there should be no worries this time of year. I mean you should definitely still be responsible and don’t go too crazy, but I think it’s a great time to let loose and live your life. I can’t believe it’s already July, but I am going to make the best of what’s left and you should too! Let me know what your summer plans or ideas are 🙂

I love your new header image! And I loveee that this outfit screams 4th of July without the use of an American flag! There’s definitely more than one way to look 4th of July ready!
