NEON PLAID x BLACK DENIM

Neon colors are so much fun and I love wearing it during the summer! I’ve been getting really into loose tops that I don’t need to wear a bra underneath. I’m not sure if that’s too much information or not, but I just think summer is all about freedom and that’s the feeling I get when wearing this plaid top! I got this from my friend Annelies’s shop. It only costs $19.90 and I promise it looks way better in person!

I love the bright color and you can wear this with regular denim, white or black jeans and even shorts or a skirt. I wanted a more causal look so I am pairing it up with these ripped denim jeans I bought from a boutique when I was traveling in Hong Kong. Once you put on some cute heels, you are good to go! This look is literally perfect for any occasion. I love summer especially spending it in NYC. I want to do more things like visit museums, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, and other events. I basically want to do all the tourist activities and I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I’ve never been to the Statue of Liberty!

I think whenever you live in a place that has known attractions, you never really visit because it’s just there. However, when I am traveling I always make it a priority to visit the landmarks like Paris’s Eiffel Tower, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, London’s Big Ben, etc. I was born and raised in NYC and I should really take advantage of that so this summer, I will do at least one tourist activity that I have on my list. I’m proud to be a native New Yorker, but I also want to embrace that by actually experiencing everything that NYC has to offer. I suggest you do the same wherever you are. Go do the cliche activities that your city or country has to offer. Take a moment to just enjoy life and actually live it!
