WHITE BEFORE LABOR DAY

I’m not sure who made up the rule that you can’t wear white after Labor Day, but I decided to take out my white dress before summer ends and before September arrives. The last time I wore this dress was for my college graduation so it was about two years ago. I have a tendency to keep some pieces in my closet for a while, which I’m not sure if it’s a bad thing or a good thing.

I don’t often wear white simply because I think it’s such an easy color to get thirty, especially since I’m always on the go and live in NYC. But during the rare times that I do, I love wearing a pop of color just to make sure my outfit has some personality. I think this outfit is perfect for both causal and formal settings including social and professional events. Aside from my outfit details, I recently just updated my blog’s design. It’s still a work in progress and I’m still trying to fine tune all the details, but I think it’s very similar to buying a house. You have to do research and get furniture, decor, etc. You have to decide on paint colors, the style and overall theme. It’s not completely finished but I definitely think I am making progress.
