GRADUATION GIFT GUIDE IDEAS

Graduation is right around the corner and I am sure you know someone who is graduating whether it’s a family member or friend. My younger sister is graduating from college and my niece is graduating from elementary school, so May and June are busy months for my family.  I think it’s definitely an exciting time to celebrate and there’s no better way to do so than with gifts! I decided to compile a gift guide consisting of five items that I think would make for great graduation gifts. Keep in mind that I was making this guide for high school and college grads rather than kids.

• Belts: I personally don’t wear belts, but I think they make for great gifts  for graduates either going onto college or into the work field. Everyone needs a nice belt in their wardrobe and you can wear it for both professional use or fashion statement. I also think this is great to wear all year around so it will make for a staple in any closet.

• Travel Bags: Duffel bags can come in so handy for a recent graduate. These travel bags are perfect for traveling back home on weekends, weekend getaways, or even as storage bags. Throughout college, I collected duffle bags because I traveled frequently and I’ve come to realized that a nice duffle bag is essential to making a trip more convenient.

• Apple Watch/ Classic Watch: I think that watches complete every outfit and any graduate will definitely appreciate a nice watch. There are so many different watches out there in the market right now, ranging from style watches to sport endurance watches. Apple watches are a great accessory for the gym, work, classroom and everyday life. You can also pick a stylish one like the rose gold since it can be a fun fashion accessory. 

• Jewelry: You can never go wrong with jewelry especially minimal necklaces with sayings and phrases. Graduation is such a special milestone and I think these necklaces are special and have great meanings. Gifting a nice piece of jewelry can remind them of their special day and I know I would’ve wanted one when I graduated. 

• New Shoes: Girls can never have enough pairs of shoes in their closet, so as they step into this new chapter of their lives, I think ballet flats would be the perfect classic gift. There are so many new spring styles this season, but these foldable flats from Tory Burch are ideal so they can carry it in their bags. I also think they are great for any occasion like belts. These are versatile enough to wear for everyday and for both formal and causal settings.
