I normally don’t go to pop up shops or sales because I prefer to shop online, but I always see people waiting in line especially around Soho, so I thought it would be a good idea to research what’s coming up and what the who buzz around these sales are. I think this would also be a great experience to share with your friends so you can make a day out of it since it’s getting warmer outside and who doesn’t like adding new clothing to their wardrobe?

  • Unlimited Taco Pop Up: Just based off the name, I was intrigued by what this pop up shop would be about. Apparently, there is going to be unlimited tacos and you get to shop from different Chelsea boutiques. I love that it will be on a rooftop terrace and that they will be having $6 happy hour!! For only $20, this event is going to be held at the Gem Hotel on May 27 from 7pm -9:30pm so check it out since it’s soon approaching!
  • Chelsea Market Pop Up Shops: You can always find something to do around Chelsea Markets. It’s a great place to eat, shop and hang out. If you go on their website, you are able to see a calendar of all their upcoming events, so I would suggest visiting now and putting the events you are interested in on your phone. I love that it is a huge tourist attraction yet it has a small local community feeling to it. I have been here several times and always enjoy myself.
  • Supreme x Louis Vuitton Pop up: This particular Pop Up Shop in New York City is not confirmed yet, but like a lot of pop up shops, they are always announced last minuted and will only be available for a few days. Apparently around June, there is speculation on a Supreme x Louis Vuitton Pop Up Shop coming to NYC. If this is true, I am pretty excited since there is always a crazy turn out for Supreme releases and I can only imagine what it would be like if Supreme partnered with Louis Vuitton.
  • As for sales in New York City, there are a couple holidays coming up in the summer and holidays=holiday sales!! So if you are in New York during these times, definitely check out the sales, which include Memorial Day Weekend Sale  (May 26-May 29) and July 4th Weekend Sale (June 30- July 4). Some great shopping areas during this time would be Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Soho. Of course online would be great too as I am sure you guys will all get tons of emails from retailers soon!

Do you guys normally attend pop up shops? I would love to hear about your experience! Also do you take advantage of the holiday sales? I know I do because sometimes the deals and sales are hard to resist!

That is so cool that you can have unlimited tacos while you shop! I actually shop online too and avoid these pop up sales and even sample sales since the line is always so long and they are hit or miss but I definitely would go for the experience and hype of it at least just once. That Supreme and LV one looks amazing if that happened and I’m sure during this weekend the sales will be so insane! Happy shopping! xoxo, Christine

Such a great post babe!! For sure very useful info to know whenever I’m back to NYC.
I have to say I don’t like to do lines neither and I shop online but what I like the most are pop up shops and little markets.
I love this pink romper looks great on you!

Unlimited tacos don’t sound very good for my gut, haha, but pretty amazing otherwise! I’d certainly enjoy that. My first time visiting a pop-up was a few weeks ago when I visited a Coppertone one in Miami. It was a pretty fun experience and I really enjoyed myself. It’s past time I raid your romper collection too 🙂

I don’t usually go to pop ups as like you I prefer shopping online or just in permanent stores. The taco pop up sounds like my kind of place though haha

I’m reading every freaking tweet and rumour there is out there and right now it seems like NYC is getting a LV x Supreme popup in mid-June, but that 10 selected stores in the US will get the collection on July 14th which would suit me perfectly as I’ll be in town then and I’ll be one of those crazy people in a sleeping bag queuing outside (can’t see myself in a sleeping bag though, haha). Obsessed? Yes. Is it it worth it? Honestly don’t know yet, haha. Thanks for reminding me about checking out the latest rumours!

I live around soho so I see people waiting for these sales all the time! I guess if you’re passionate about it, then it makes sense. I definitely think the LV x Supreme would be a great turnout though!

I”m more of an online shopper as well but now that the weather is getting warmer I wouldn’t mind attending a few pop up shops here and there! Sort of skipped out on Memorial Days sales this year, but maybe I’ll catch the July 4th round up 🙂
