I think it’s extremely important to stay up to date with fashion and beauty news if you’re a blogger. I like to know what’s happening in the industry and my twitter is my go to resource for news. If you have a twitter, feel free to follow me here and I’ll be sure to support your account as well! I decided to do a quick roundup of fashion and beauty news that have been trending over the last week or so.

• Fenty Beauty: Rihanna’s makeup line has everyone grabbing her products of the shelves. The top picks of the collection include the Pro Filt’r Longwear Foundation, the Killawatt Freestyle highlighters, and the Glossbomb Universal Lip Luminizer. Many are praising the brand as a result of the inclusive shade range and the mid-tier price range. I am most interested in trying out the foundation because people have been raving about it and apparently it makes the skin look gorgeously airbrushed with a soft-matte finish. However, some fallbacks of the brand are the contour/highlight matchsticks, which some have had some difficulty blending and the oxidizing of the foundation. Have you guys tried any of the products? What are your thoughts? 
• Two Toned Lipstick: Smashbox, Bite Beauty, and Dior are some of the major beauty brands that are hopping onto this trend. The dual color lipsticks are intended upon achieving that ombre lip effect, which shows the illusion of fuller, pouty lips. Both the Smashbox and Bite beauty dual-toned lips blend beautifully and have an incredibly creamy formula. However, the Dior lipsticks come off patchy and uneven in its color payoff. Regardless, the trend for big pouty lips seems to be here to stay.
  
• Top Trends from Paris Fashion Week: Bright monochromatic colors were sweeping the runway, most notably the color magenta. The color is a bright statement piece, but we will definitely be seeing much more of it next spring. Another strange trend that was making its way through Paris are platform crocs from Balenciaga; however, most were less-than-impressed. When it came to purses, they were either miniscule or massive, and while it was accordingly chic, most believe they were too impractical for actual use. Finally, activists tees made its way down the catwalk, making a progressive statement. Many enjoyed seeing them subtly tucked into flowy skirts and wide-leg pants.
• Stuart Weitzman’s Nudist Heels: These shoes have been a consistent favorite of celebrities from Diane Kruger to Ariana Grande. The shape of the shoe is incredibly versatile and can be worn with gowns, cocktail dresses, or suits. In comparison to Stuart Weitzman’s other shoes, the heel is smaller and more comfortable for walking, yet still manages to look elegant. Other brands such as Steve Madden and Sam Edelman have come out with a similar styles at a more reasonable price point, but Stuart Weitzman’s quality has yet to be beat. 
• I.AM.GIA.: This is the latest insta-famous label that’s been sweeping social media with a storm. This urban-chic brand has been seen on Bella and Gigi Hadid, Jordyn Woods, and Stella Maxwell. Originating from Australia, it has steadily been getting more popular in the United States. Unsurprisingly, social media has helped the brand spread like wildfire due to its statement outfit pieces that make everyone want to pull out their wallets. Thankfully, the price range of their clothing is surprisingly on the affordable side, which makes the brand all the more popular. While the styles are not for everyone, they are definitely insta-worthy.
