FALL TREND: SUEDE SKIRTS

Suede skirts are everywhere nowadays! I know for a fact that this will be a trend for the fall/winter season and I won’t complain because I’m definitely digging the look. I think the most common colors are burgundy, mustard and brown because they resemble more of the fall transition. With that being said, it’s no wonder why I had to go out and seek a suede skirt for myself. I unfortunately couldn’t find one that was suede material, but I found this beautiful simple skirt from Necessary Boutique and it works just as well! I was looking more of the same style and color, rather than the exact suede fabric. The best part is that there are pockets and a cute belt to tie in the front. I also have this skirt in dusty maroon/pink, which I will eventually do a blog post on soon.

This look is great because you can wear any basic top with it. A turtle neck, a long sleeve or even a short sleeve shirt will work and you also have many color options that compliment the carrot/bronze color skirt. I’ve decided to stick with black, but white, burgundy, and grey works well too! You can also layer it with a jacket or a cardigan depending on how cold it is. The best part is the length because it’s appropriate for work or school. If you’re not a fan of bare legs, you can wear thick stockings for more warmth. I wore booties because it wasn’t that cold that day, but I know that over the knee boots are coming back this season, so wearing thigh socks and long boots can also give the outfit a bit more “uumph.” I just think there are so many ways to customize this look and give it your personality. I would recommend everybody to look for a similar styled skirt because there are many ways to wear skirts in the colder season.
