All About That Leather

Leather shorts in the summer??? Yes, you heard that right. I own these high waisted Forever 21 black leather shorts and it’s a staple in my closet. No, I don’t wear it often. Actually, I think I’ve only worn them three times within the past few years, but for some reason, I can’t simply give it up. Something about leather makes me feel sexy and confident, but in a very subtle, non sexual way. Maybe it’s because of the perfect fit. It’s very difficult for me to find the right pair of jeans or shorts and I know every women out there can attest to that. It needs to hug your body in the right places and you need to be able to feel good in them. I like these shorts because for one thing, they’re black and they go with everything and secondly, they can be worn all year round. In the winter, I like to dress them up with stockings and cute booties and in the summer, I like to go bare with some nice heels.

I’m also a fan of bright colors for the summer; I like to pop. I decided to wear this pink crop top also from Forever 21 and now I’ve got my Saturday night outfit ready. I would never wear this during the day because it’s a bit too much, but for the night out with the girls, this is perfect. And just a fun fact, I wouldn’t wear this outfit with sunglasses either! I only had to since it was so hot out that day.  I also like my strappy heels because it gives a little spice to my outfit since it’s so plain. And that’s the beauty of shoes, they can bring your outfit from decent and nice to damn girl you look amazing!
