It sure is a bittersweet moment that August is here. I’ve always been a fan of August and this time of year because it’s a winding down of the summer and one month closer to fall, which is my favorite season! July was a stressful month for me, partly because I moved into a new apartment and partly because I have been dealing with some personal matters. With that being said, I still think it’s important to reassess how the last 31 days went for me.
As I revisit my July goals, it was clear that my move was my main priority. For those who have moved, you understand the the stress and chaos that comes with it. I knew that I was not going to be fully settled and as I am writing this, I still stand by that. It takes time to order furniture, to get everything organized and to add final touches to make your home feel like home. I wanted to be more active on social media and although that was one of my main goals, I actually found myself feeling and doing the opposite. I go through waves when it comes to social media and there are times when I am consistently showing up and there are times where I decide to take breaks for my mental health. With that being said, I did fully immerse myself in my fitness goals and I can say that the results speak for themselves and I am very content and happy with not only how I look, but how I feel.
I’m curious to know what your personal goals are and let me know what’s one thing you’re proud of that you achieved in July and what’s one thing you’re looking forward to in August?

Thank you Lovely!
I completely agree with you on it taking time to feel settled into a new home. We moved back in January and (honestly) our place has only started feeling cosy and homely in the past few months. You'll get there! Good luck smashing your August goals xx

I'm so glad to hear you're starting to feel cozy at home! It takes time but I'm not trying to rush the process :)
Beautiful outfits! I'm glad you're enjoying Summer. I just got back from one mini-trip (Adirondacks) and am heading to the Finger Lakes in two weeks. It's a good time to go upstate.
I love hearing that! Yes upstate is gorgeous :)
I can't believe it's august already. This year has really flown by.
It definitely did!
It's good you're settled in and your move went well, even if last month was stressful for you! Good luck with your goals for August!
Hope your week is going well!
Thank you Mica! I definitely understand that we all have different phases in our lives so I'm just going with the flow.
Good to know you are settling in your new home... good luck with your August goals :-)

Moving is always so stressful. It feels amazing once you are settled. Decorating is the fun part! I hope you are able to embark on a weekend getaway soon.
Yes absolutely, thank you!
