BEST SUMMER BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Beauty products in the summer can be tricky because you want products that can protect your skin and stay on for longer. I look for products that have SPF in it to protect my skin, but also for products that I can wear when I’m by the pool or walking around. These are my favorite summer beauty products that I’ve been loving!

1. Kate Somerville UncompliKated SPF Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray: Seriously the best purchase I have made this summer! We all know how important SPF is during the summer and how harmful the UV Rays can be to the skin. This is not only great to protect your face from the sun, but it also sets your makeup to keep it looking great all day. It also has Hyaluronic Acid which increases hydration and helps blur and smooth the appearance of skin. I also love this because it has lavender oil in it, which helps eliminate the smell of sunscreen.
2. Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara: During the summer time I’m always by water, which means I need makeup that can hold when I’m at the beach or pool. Even when I’m not by water, it gets super hot out and I need something that can hold when I’m sweating too! This is great because it’s waterproof and stays on without smudging.
3. St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse: If you don’t tan easily or need a tan before going on vacation, St. Tropez has the best products to give you a natural tan without making you look like an Oompa Loompa. You can put this mousse on for up to three hours before showering depending on how dark you want your tan to be. Even though I can tan easily, it’s nice sometimes to have a little color so I don’t look like a ghost during the first few weeks of summer.
4. IGK Prenup Instant Spray Hair Mask: Being in the sun or by the pool can be really damaging to my hair. Between the chlorine and having dyed hair, my hair gets really dry and brittle. This IGK spray on hair mask is amazing because it nourishes and repairs my hair and is super lightweight. Plus, it’s spray on which gives a really easy and even application. Another thing I love about this is that unlike other deep conditioners, you don’t have to wait to wash it out. I’m always pretty busy and don’t have time to wait twenty minutes for the conditioner to set in.
5. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector: This liquid highlighter gives you the dewy summer glow that makes my skin look radiant and your girl is all about that glow! Because it’s liquid it stays on a lot longer and doesn’t come off as easily when I’m out and about. A little goes a long way with this product and it’s really blendable.
6. STILA Stay All Day Foundation:  This full coverage Stila product is both a foundation and concealer. I love this product because it’s water resistant so it doesn’t just sweat off or fade during the day. It’s super breathable and doesn’t feel like there’s any makeup on your skin. There’s also a matte finish so you won’t be shiny!
7. PIXI® H20 Skindrink Hydration Gel :  A hydrating gel that cools and refreshes your skin. I use this in the morning before putting on my makeup and it helps keep my skin feeling hydrated. What’s amazing about this product is that it has aloe vera in it and depuffs my skin.
   
8. Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Oil: Don’t be afraid to use this product if you have oily skin! It’s hydrating and gives my skin a dewy glow. The facial oil is also super absorbent and helps defend against environmental stressors. Drunk Elephant also makes all their products free of parabens and other chemicals and cruelty free!
