Beauty products in the summer can be tricky because you want products that can protect your skin and stay on for longer. I look for products that have SPF in it to protect my skin, but also for products that I can wear when I’m by the pool or walking around. These are my favorite summer beauty products that I’ve been loving!

Kate SomervilleUncompliKated SPF Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray: Seriously the best purchase I have made this summer! We all know how important SPF is during the summer and how harmful the UV Rays can be to the skin. This is not only great to protect your face from the sun, but it also sets your makeup to keep it looking great all day. It also has Hyaluronic Acid which increases hydration and helps blur and smooth the appearance of skin. I also love this because it has lavender oil in it, which helps eliminate the smell of sunscreen.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara: During the summer time I’m always by water, which means I need makeup that can hold when I’m at the beach or pool. Even when I’m not by water, it gets super hot out and I need something that can hold when I’m sweating too! This is great because it’s waterproof and stays on without smudging.
St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse: If you don’t tan easily or need a tan before going on vacation, St. Tropez has the best products to give you a natural tan without making you look like an Oompa Loompa. You can put this mousse on for up to three hours before showering depending on how dark you want your tan to be. Even though I can tan easily, it’s nice sometimes to have a little color so I don’t look like a ghost during the first few weeks of summer.
IGK Prenup Instant Spray Hair Mask: Being in the sun or by the pool can be really damaging to my hair. Between the chlorine and having dyed hair, my hair gets really dry and brittle. This IGK spray on hair mask is amazing because it nourishes and repairs my hair and is super lightweight. Plus, it’s spray on which gives a really easy and even application. Another thing I love about this is that unlike other deep conditioners, you don’t have to wait to wash it out. I’m always pretty busy and don’t have time to wait twenty minutes for the conditioner to set in.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector:This liquid highlighter gives you the dewy summer glow that makes my skin look radiant and your girl is all about that glow! Because it’s liquid it stays on a lot longer and doesn’t come off as easily when I’m out and about. A little goes a long way with this product and it’s really blendable.
STILA Stay All Day Foundation: This full coverage Stila product is both a foundation and concealer. I love this product because it’s water resistant so it doesn’t just sweat off or fade during the day. It’s super breathable and doesn’t feel like there’s any makeup on your skin. There’s also a matte finish so you won’t be shiny!
PIXI® H20 Skindrink Hydration Gel : A hydrating gel that cools and refreshes your skin. I use this in the morning before putting on my makeup and it helps keep my skin feeling hydrated. What’s amazing about this product is that it has aloe vera in it and depuffs my skin.
Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Oil: Don’t be afraid to use this product if you have oily skin! It’s hydrating and gives my skin a dewy glow. The facial oil is also super absorbent and helps defend against environmental stressors. Drunk Elephant also makes all their products free of parabens and other chemicals and cruelty free!

Those two are definitely my favorites!! The Drunk Elephant Luxury Oil feels amazing on my skin and the Pixi Hydration Gel goes on smoothly and both products definitely have improved my skin texture!
So, I've never used any of these products, which means, I need to lol. A stay all day foundation sounds perfect for the humidity in Japan. It seems like no matter what foundation I wear, it always starts coming off by the end of the day which is just really bad.. Gotta give this one a try!
I can't imagine wearing heavy foundation in the humidity but there are definitely some foundations that are lighter and mirror more of a tinted moisturizer would be great for you!
OMG so many rising new brands. I haven't heard of more than half of the brands you have listed here. I guess I have a lot of home and research to do for choosing my next lots of summer beauty products. Thanks for sharing girl.

I am skincare obsessed and love all these products you recommend. I have been looking for a good setting spray with SPF so need to grab this Kate Somerville. I haven't tanned all summer so need that mousse too! Does it stain clothes? Definitely love waterproof mascara too...the non waterproof ones don't keep my lashes curled. Nope it doesn't stain clothes at all which is great! And I can totally relate with mascara but I think a good eyelash curler helps!
My makeup stays on my face the least amount of time during the summer since I sweat so, so much. I definitely need to look into some of these for longevity, especially that Stay All Day Foundation!
It's a great light foundation that doesn't feel caky or heavy on your face.
WOW the SPF spray over your makeup would be wonderful especially when you need the protection and forgot to put it on before walking out the door. I particularly love this idea.

Great list of summer beauty products! St. Tropez's self-tanner is the best. The color is always spot on. I really want to try that hair mask, especially since it's a spray and go type of product.
I'm not usually a self tanner person but this summer, I've started to dive into St. Tropez's products and I must say they do live up to the hype!
Nice selection, usually I love to use the highest sunscreen from ISDIN 100+ for avoid dark spots on the summer. Love the waterproof foundations and mascaras for summer . It's very practical in case of need them.
