I am all about supporting my friends because I love when my friends succeed! It’s really important to surround yourself with people who are positive and motivated because that definitely rubs on to you. And for those who are negative or aren’t bringing anything beneficial to your life, you should cut them out. Now that I’m getting older, I’m extremely picky with the groups that I associate myself with. I value quality friends over quantity and I’m sure a lot of you can relate as well, so that’s my life lesson for the day 🙂
I recently reconnected with an old friend Anneleis, who is also a blogger and I found out she just got into eCommerce and started her own shop! I was really excited to hear this because I admire people who go after their dreams. She gifted me a few items from her line and I wanted to style it in a way that represents who I am, while also highlighting her fabulous items.
Today, I am wearing the Waved Pattern Skirt, which costs $51.90. At first, I wasn’t sure if I can pull this off because I am petite and I normally don’t like to wear long skirts. However, once I saw the slit on the side, I thought it was very cute and that it was a nice feature that I can play with. The material is also high quality and you can tell by just touching it. I also like the wavy texture as the name implies because it’s unique and adds another touch to the fabric and material. There’s a layer underneath, so don’t worry ladies, it’s not sheer and your behind will be covered!
I wanted to keep this look simple so I put on a white bralette top that will show my shoulders and collar bones. I think this pairing definitely makes me taller and I feel super elegant yet comfortable in this ensemble. This is great for the day, but you can also get away with this for the night by putting on a bright lipstick and tying your hair up in a high ponytail or bun.
Feel free to check out her shop here and let me know what you guys think!
