I can’t believe Christmas is only a couple of days away! This year definitely flew by and it’s basically 2016 already. I love the holidays and this time of year is my favorite. I enjoy dressing up for Christmas because I’ve come to realized that what I wear does affect how I feel. When I dress up, it makes me feel good and happy and the whole process of wearing a nice outfit puts me in the Christmas spirit and holiday cheer.
I love the color red for Christmas and I think that’s probably one of the more popular outfit color choices. However, since I wore red last year, I decided to stick with black because you can never go wrong with black since it’s a solid, neutral color and you know what they say, black makes you look skinnier. This little black dress is from Zara and I am in love with the cut and fit. I paired it up with these gold heels, but wanted to add more color so I decided this plaid blue, red and white scarf would be perfect. I’m literally obsessed with this scarf because it’s bright, plaid and super soft, which keeps me warm for this winter season.
Since I’m usually indoors for Christmas, I didn’t bother wearing stockings, but if you are traveling or will be outside, feel free to keep your legs warm. I love this dress because I have worn it in the summer before. It’s also great for causal and formal events. I am so excited for Christmas and I can’t wait to wear this outfit and open presents 🙂
