CHUNKY SWEATER

I am a huge fan of chunky sweaters for the winter! I usually buy sweaters one or two sizes larger because I like to have the option of wearing leggings and have it cover my behind. I am big on comfort as you all know since I’ve mentioned this countless times in my blog posts, but comfort and warmth are two key elements I look for when putting together winter outfits.

I have featured these boyfriend jeans in a previous post, but these are perfect for causal outfits and thought it’d be a nice touch with this sweater. Although the color scheme of this outfit is rather light, it is still an appropriate outfit for the winter because of the oversized sweater and black booties.  I think the oversized sweater does give me a more “loungey” look and some people don’t like the baggy aspect, but I actually don’t mind it as much.  Overall, I think it’s very comfy and laid back look. If you want to look a little more put together, feel free to layer the outfit with a fur vest or oversized coat as that would make this more winter friendly and less causal.
