Dare to go Backless?

I have a thing for backless dresses! I like when I can show my skin in a subtle way without screaming for too much attention. I’ve decided to order this black shift dress from Tobi, and I must say, it’s a keeper. The back has a triangular shaped cut out and the front shows a little bit of my cleavage, but I think this overall look is still classy and border line sexy at the same time. It’s loose and its length is perfect to stroll in the city with some manageable heels.

I decided to put my hair up because an undo is the best way to highlight the dress’s back design. I didn’t do a slick ponytail because I honestly didn’t want to look too “put together.” I wanted to go for a more “I didn’t try” look. This dress is such an easy go to option if I can’t find anything else to wear in my closet. It’s great for the summer, but I think I can also utilize this in the fall by wearing stockings and some cute booties. I can also pair it up with a blazer, cardigan or even a light coat. I think a lot of women have black clothing in their closets because it’s such a safe and classic color to wear. Overall, this dress is here to stay and I can’t wait to mix and match with other items in my closet.
