I usually run errands on the weekend because that’s when I have the most time to myself. I hate dressing up or spending way too much time putting an outfit together, especially if I’m not seeing anybody or doing anything special. However, I still like to look somewhat put together and not like I just rolled out of bed. Some people are able to put on sweats and a tshirt and go out, but I need a transition between what I wear lounging at home and what I wear in public, even if it’s going to the bank or picking up some groceries.
This look is very causal, super laid back, yet still has some style to it. I am wearing a regular loose tshirt, which I’m sure most of you own. I paired them up with comfortable shorts, but tucked my shirt in to make myself more presentable. I only wore my sandal heels because I was photographing multiple outfits that day, but I would opt for some flat sandals instead. I never style my hair when running errands and I am usually always on a schedule, going from one place to another so 9 out of 10 times, I always just put my hair up in a bun and call it a day.
The best thing about this look is that if I ever do bump into somebody, I still look decent. And for some reason, in my experience, you always see people when you look your worst, so I try to avoid that at all costs. The key for an errands look is pretty simple: stick to some basics, tie or tuck the top in and make sure you are comfortable yet causal.
