FALL COOLNESS

Sometimes I like to feel like a badass. Because who doesn’t? Today, I decided to channel that boldness with this look consisting of a muscle black tank from Forever 21, a blue cropped jacket from H&M and these leather burgundy shorts from Necessary Clothing Boutique. In my last post, I talked about loving midnight blue/green for the fall season. I also love the color burgundy because it’s such a rich dark red mixed with brown and there’s no other color that’s perfect to rock in the fall than burgundy.

I think when you automatically put your hair up in a bun, you transform your look from innocence to boldness. Maybe that’s just me, but there’s two vibes that I embrace with a bun hairstyle. The first is a more I don’t care, laid back feeling, which is shown in more of my previous summer looks. The other is a I’m fierce and feisty, so don’t mess with me look, which is basically how I feel in the below shots. I think there’s something powerful in these leather shorts and pairing them with heels makes me feel taller, which in turns makes me feel cooler.

Overall, I think this look is simple and many people can pull it off. It also doesn’t require much shopping as I’m sure many of you have a short/cropped jacket, a regular tank and some shorts. Just tie your hair up, grab some red lipstick and walk out the door like you woke up like this. At the end of the day, it’s all about layering and mixing different seasonal pieces together.
