Last week, I had the great opportunity to co-host a cocktail event with Finery, a wardrobe platform that grabs all your online purchases and organizes them in a virtual wardrobe. The co founders of this amazing company are Brooklyn Decker and Whitney Casey, two women that I look up to! This was an incredible experience and I was honored that Finery approached me for this event because I believe in the value of their service as well as their women empowerment message.
In preparation for my event, I booked my hairstylist and makeup artist on Romio, which is a service provider app. I am a lifestyle expert and you can check my profile including all my recommendations of services here. Teresa (makeup artist) and Crystal (hairstylist) were both super sweet and did a fabulous job and I knew I could count on them to look amazing for the event. I know it can be intimidating at times to get your hair and makeup done, but both ladies made me feel comfortable and of course also made me look beautiful for the evening! I sported big curls and a glowy spring makeup look since I went for a blue lace dress for the event.
I love being a Romio lifestyle expert because I often get asked who does my hair or who takes my photos. Instead of writing down a list, I am easily able to direct my friends to my profile, which has all my recommendations in one place. Being a native New Yorker, I am proud of the connections I’ve made and the people that I recommend are people that I absolutely love, trust and support. The process of booking any services is incredibly easy, so if you are interested in being part of this platform, feel free to sign up on Romio here.
It was amazing to meet co-founders (and boss babes) Brooklyn Decker and Whitney Casey as well as Jaime Patel, who was my main contact and does marketing for Finery. I absolutely loved that they are all about women empowerment and aim to create a community that supports one another. The event was an intimate get together with women entrepreneurs, bloggers and boss babes. We spent the night mingling, networking, taking pictures and of course giving advice and support to one another. There were also delicious cocktails served, a DIY fanny pack station, and an informative demo of the Finery app and brief discussion on how we can support businesses run and owned by women.
Finery is a truly amazing styling app that is launching with patented technology to help you style outfits in your closet. The pieces that you purchase online will show up in your Finery closet and you’ll be able to find outfit inspiration when you don’t know how to style a particular piece. The app will also track your returns as well as when items on your wishlist goes on sale, which is a genius idea to say the least! I love that they really focus on the user’s experience and continuously try to improve the app depending on what people want. Essentially, this is a online shopper’s dream come true and if you don’t believe me, feel free to check them out yourself 🙂
I am so excited for the launch and I can’t wait to see what other features that they will be adding. It was an honor to meet these amazing, empowering women and I look forward to see other things they will accomplish. Let me know if Finery is something that you would use and if you love online shopping as much as I do!

I think I saw this on your Instagram and it looked so fun!! I love the dress you wore to this cocktail event 🙂 You should be so proud of yourself for how far you’ve come with your blogging! Making connections requires a lot of time and dedication, something I’ve learned over the years too. But it’s so worth it!
