FLANNEL FRIDAY

I cannot live without flannels for the winter! I just think they’re a beautiful pattern and I love when they’re a bit over-sized and super soft. This purple and red flannel is one of my favorite items in my closet because I think the combination of these two colors is perfect. I like to wear these when I want to feel comfortable and I often pair them up with a dark colored pair of jeans and some brown booties. Since it was Friday, I decided the title of this post is appropriate. It also summarizes my laid back attitude as I look forward for the upcoming relaxing weekend.

Surprisingly, it hasn’t been too cold this December, though I have a feeling temperature will drop dramatically by the end of January to February. I wore my black coat on top of my outfit since it’s a light outerwear. You can wear this to work if you can dress causal. For some reason, I also think this outfit would be perfect to go to a winery or to a Sunday brunch. I intend to buy more flannels for next year because I think they’re a great way to add some color into your wardrobe and they’re very easy to wear. I’m pretty sure anybody can pull this look off!
