FOURTH OF JULY OUTFITS

I don’t know about you guys, but I always wear red, white and blue for Independence Day. I mean, isn’t it an unspoken rule? During this holiday, I normally spend it with friends and family at either a pool party, beach trip or outside BBQ. It’s a great way to enjoy the warm weather, converse with each other and celebrate by eating and drinking. I decided to showcase three outfit options for July 4th and I tried to keep in mind of different styles and occasions.

  • For the girl who likes to dress up: I love dressing up for special events and this outfit is catered to those that are going to a brunch or upbeat event for July 4th. The bright red skirt is the main attraction and I love the ruffles and the material. It is stretchy and surprisingly comfortable. The block sandals heels are also my go to type of shoes for the summer since they give me a little bit of height and offer a stylish appeal to complete the outfit. This outfit is pretty simple since it only consists of a top and skirt, but this goes to show that colors can really help elevate a look!

  • For the girl who’s too cool to talk to: I created this look for all the badasses out there who don’t need to try too hard in what they wear. I always associate high waisted pants with confidence mainly because that’s how I feel wearing them as a petite gal. The look is very causal but just to spice things up, I decided to pair it with the heels to complete the coolness factor. This outfit is great if you are heading to a BBQ or brunch in the city.

  • For the outgoing girl who loves to socialize: This outfit is what I would probably wear if i had to choose one out of the three. I live in shorts in the summer and I don’t mind baring legs or showing skin. The colors coordinate perfectly with July 4th and is perfect for all events and activities. I probably would’ve worn slip on sneakers with these instead of heels but it just goes to show that it’s a flexible enough look to switch up footwear as you please.

Let me know what pieces or looks you were most drawn to. If you are from the United States, also let me know what your plans are!

  • Haha, I love it "The girl who is too cool to talk to". And actually I like that outfit the most too although you look smashing in all of them. Have a wonderful Fourth of July and whether it be BBQs, fireworks or other festivities I'll be with you in spirit!

  • Happy 4th of July love, I'm loving these outfits. The second one is my favorite. Hope you're having an amazing time.

  • I think the 4th of July is one of the most fun holidays to dress red, white & blue. Each year seems like everyone is having fun dressing for the holiday. Love all your outfits. Great post.

    • Yes! I love that red skirt too. It's bright and the material is extremely soft :)

  • What gorgeous red, white, and blue looks! I love that you have three different vibes here. The retro style top in the last look is so cute!

  • Adore these three outfits! I really like the first one the best. I feel like red and white really compliment each other! Plus it's both bold and simple. Hope you had an amazing 4th!

    • The red skirt is extremely bright but I think it's a perfect color for the July 4th holiday.

  • I spent my entire 4th of July weekend unpacking. Sounds pretty boring for sure! The 2nd 4th of July look you shared is my favorite. I'm not a super patriotic person and this look puts me in the spirit, while still not being over the top with red, white and blue. You look great in all though, babe!

    • Thank you so much darling! I know you recently moved so it takes time to settle in, but it must also be a fun and exciting process!

  • These are some fab options for the 4th! I typically don't go with the red, white, and blue theme because honestly, I don't own much red! But I like that these looks aren't trying too hard like you don't look like a flag and they are subtle looks for the patriotic holiday. I have those same white denim cut offs and wear them all the time! Thanks for the inspo! xoxo, Christine

    • I don't always like to wear all three colors but I think even something subtle with two colors and a bold red lipstick can be appropriate for the holiday.

  • I'm loving all these fourth of July looks! Looking chic as always :) It's funny I landed in Paris that day and did everything unrelated to the US holiday haha. But I'm hoping to spend it in the states next year if the timing is right.
