GOODBYE 2016

*Outfit Details with affiliate links: Choker (Zaful) Velvet Top (Zaful), Velvet Skirt (Mom’s creation), Boots (Zigi)

I can’t believe these are the last few days of 2016. I feel like as each year goes by, time flies faster than ever before and it’s pretty quite scary if you think about it. Nonetheless, I definitely had an amazing year. I wanted to just highlight some of my accomplishments since I think it’s always a good idea to reflect about the year as a whole.

  • I went to Hong Kong in May with my family and my boyfriend came along. I had an amazing time going back to my roots and enjoyed the food. This was a great trip because my boyfriend met my extended family, which is definitely something I value. I know not a lot of people have the opportunity to travel overseas and I am very happy that I had the privilege to do so. I’m not sure when I will return, so it was definitely a great trip that I will treasure forever. I made a lot of memories and it was great to rekindle with my family.
  • I found my love for blogging this past February and decided to dedicate more time and effort into it. I can see my growth simply through my posts, photos and engagement. This year was huge for me in terms of finding myself and I will have to admit that blogging played a huge role. I am very thankful for all of the opportunities that have come my way and I cannot wait to see what 2017 has in store for me.
  • I explored Eastern Europe in November. As many of you know, I visited Prague and Budapest and I always count any vacations or trips as highlights of the year! I love to travel and it’s one of my top passions. I already have some trips planned for next year and I’m super excited for them!
  • I have grown closer to my family and friends this year and feel like I have developed a great support system. I have great quality and positive people that I surround myself with and I love that I don’t have any ties with negative or toxic people. I’m very content with those that I associate with and truly value the relationships and friendships that have developed t his year.

Overall, 2016 was a great year. I don’t have many complaints  and I know that 2017 is going to be even better. I know it’s cliche to say that and a lot of people say the same, but  I just have a feeling that there are great things coming my way. I have many goals and I cannot wait to start planning and checking them off my to do list next year.

What was your favorite memory of 2016? What do you look forward to in 2017?
