It’s that time of the year again and I am deep into holiday planning! Even though December can be overwhelming with gift shopping, I actually enjoy it because it’s fun for me to check off my list and find the right gifts for my friends and family. Since I am always on the go as a New Yorker and running around from store to store, I strive to dress comfortably yet still fashionable. The key is finding the right shoes because you want to be able to withstand all the lines and be able to maneuver all the crowded stores.
I have partnered up with Famous Footwear to show how you can take a #StepForward, no matter how big or small. I chose these Madden Girl Eloisee Combat Boots because they are durable, comfortable and stylish. I have been wearing them to complete all my holiday errands and I must say I have no complaints about how they feel as they have definitely helped me get through my shopping errands. Most of us own or have owned combat boots in the past and I think they’re a great staple for your winter wardrobe because they go with everything and are perfect to wear daily.
I am petite so I do look for boots that give me height and the Eloisee has 2 inch chunky heel. The shoes are also very comfortable because it is made of soft flannel lining with cushioning insole. The best part is the full length inside zipper and lace up front because it is well fitted and I don’t find the need to readjust throughout the day. I am almost done with my holiday errands and can’t wait to start gift wrapping because that’s one of my favorite part of the holidays.

Ok, here’s the confession of the year. As a sneaker guy I’ve never owned a pair of combat boots, but would love to try some on just because they seem so stylish (yet comfy you say). The ones from Famous Footwear are absolutely gorgeous on you and can be both dressed up and down which is perfect!
