I don’t know about you guys but I absolutely love dressing up for the holidays especially Christmas! Don’t get me wrong, I also love hanging out in my pajamas in the morning while I open my gits. My usual routine consists of gathering with my family in the morning, eating breakfast and opening presents. I usually then get ready and head over to my boyfriend’s house and celebrate the rest of the day in Long Island. I make an effort to dress up because I think it’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit and a great excuse to get dolled up.
I’m not sure why, but I always stick with wearing red for Christmas. I feel like it’s an unspoken rule. I am showing you a holiday appropriate dress from Shein as it incorporates the velvet trend, the red holiday color and the party style bodycon dress. I also love how vibrant the red is because it’s bright and I think it puts me in a more enjoyable mood by just wearing it.
