JOE’S JEANS PLAID

These are the most funkiest pair of jeans that I own yet they are still probably my top three favorite clothing pieces that I own. They are green plaid with light orange and faded black stripes and my boyfriend calls them the “Harry Potter Jeans.” I can walk comfortably in them as the material is stretchy and fits me perfectly, which is pretty rare since I am petite. My mom bought these for me a few years ago and I didn’t think I could pull this dark forest green color off at first, but now I am obsessed.

What’s great is that these pair up perfectly with dark and light colored tops. However, I think solid colors are the best bet. I usually wear them with a white, grey or black sweater/ blouse. Today, I decided on a plain grey crew neck sweater and grey booties to give me some height. Since it was pretty cold outside, I decided to layer it up with my black peacoat and accessorized it with my new Kate Spade black handbag. This look is the perfect example of simple chic.
