Am I the only one who feels odd about the fact that we’re in June but I feel like the last few months have been such a blur and nothing actually happened? I guess it’s because we have been all quarantine at home and it’s still a bit surreal to grasp my head around what we’re currently facing. A part of me feels like I have nothing to report or say and my creativity has been lacking. However, I am happy that I have these monthly goals check in because they not only give me something to look forward to each month, but also forces me to do some self analysis and reflection.
I just checked my monthly goals for May and I already know that I have not met some of them. With that being said, I want to remind you all that it’s okay to not check off everything on your to do list. Do I think we should all try our best and accomplish what we have set for ourselves? Certainly! But do I think it’s also okay that we may not successfully complete all our tasks? Yes especially given what’s happening in the world right now. My may goals were to send care packages to friends, make bread from scratch, connect with more people and prioritize sleep. Out of those four, I can say that I did connect with more people as I have been joining virtual hang out sessions with strangers and I have prioritized sleep to the fullest because I have been (on average) sleeping like a baby the last four weeks. I unfortunately didn’t get around to creating care packages for my friends and I did not get a chance to make bread from scratch even though I had all intentions of doing so. I used this month to be easy on myself and to go with the flow so I will simply take those goals into next month or put them “save for later.”
As we are welcoming warmer weather and hopefully more opportunities to be with our loved ones and friends, my main goals for June are:

I miss my friends so much!
Such great goals and style. I would say buy more carefully especially online. I have been shopping and trying to get things that are more classic pieces to work with what I already own in my wardrobe. I really loved your post :)

It's wild that it's June already! I can relate to feeling like all the months prior are a blur. Love your goals! I'm working on my goals in my planner now, and am hoping to make this a productive, happy month.

I love hearing that! I like to write my monthly goals on my blog and write down my daily tasks in my planner.
These sound like great goals and getting together with friends sounds amazing. I have not left the house except to go to the market and an occasional walk since March 9th. And oh yeah I totally rearranged my space lol.
