KHAKI SKIRT

I recently wrote a blog post on how to style khaki pants and here’s another on how to wear khaki skirts. I think this is a great outfit idea for those who like the school girl look because it’s classy and formal. My skirt is from GAP and I just wore a simple black sweater on top. I love knee high socks and they go well with knee high boots. Another option is to also wear stockings and put knee high socks on top of it.

My necklace is from Kendra Scott and from Rocksbox as I am a brand ambassador for them. If you want to receive your first box free, use my code ‘mariannyipxoxo’ and check their website here. I thought the outfit was a bit plain on its own, so in order to add more color I wore my infinity knit red scarf. I think adding a simple accessory like a scarf can make the outfit stand out. In addition, I love the brightness of the scarf and I bought it at a holiday market when I travelled to Germany.

This look is also perfect for work because it looks put together. It’s also a great way to wear skirts in the winter. I highly recommend getting knee high boots and socks when styling skirts because you automatically cover up your legs and can stay warm in this colder weather.
