LAYERING

Unlike the summer, I tend to buy more outwear for the winter because I think layering is the key to transforming a simple outfit to a great outfit. If I see a really nice cardigan or jacket with a style that stands out more, I would not hesitate to buy it because I know you can never go wrong with layering. I got this cardigan jacket from my sister as a gift last year and I actually haven’t worn it until now. I absolutely love it even though I don’t know where it’s from. Not only are the texture, colors and pattern great, but the style and length is so unique. I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite pieces that I own. I don’t have any pieces like this in my closet and I haven’t seen the exact same styled outerwear in stores either.

I decided to wear a black plain sweater dress underneath and pair them with booties. It’s actually funny because when I took pictures before putting on this cardigan, my outfit was so plain, I just knew it was missing something. However, once I put this outer garment on, I just felt like a brand new person. This cardigan basically gives me life. I feel so fashionable and stylish wearing this ensemble, I can honestly walk in the streets and feel like I’m on a runway. So my advice is to find an outwear that you can layer it for this upcoming winter season and is versatile so it can go with basically anything.
