LUCKY RICE NEW YORK FEAST

Holy moly, guacamole! I attended the best event on planet Earth yesterday and it was the Luck Rice New York Feast. Basically, it was free food and booze, so what more can I ask for? I’m the biggest foodie in the world and I absolutely love trying new foods, especially asian cuisine. I even ate pig ears yesterday! I know, it sounds pretty off putting, but I never judge food by its name or appearance because you honestly don’t know what it tastes like until you try it. And to be completely frank, it really didn’t taste bad at all.

I went to each and every vendor and tried all the samples. I skipped the ones that contained shrimp and crab since I’m allergic to seafood, but everything else was amazing. My top favorites were definitely the poke and 10 below ice cream. There were several vendors that served different varieties of poke and they were all absolutely delicious. I’m a huge fan of sushi, so I just knew it wasn’t going to be a disappointment. I’ve also been to 10 Below before so I already knew what to expect, but I decided to try the smores flavors this time and it was heaven in my mouth. 🙂

The venue was super cute because there was an indoor and outside area. The inside portion was basically a warehouse while the backside lead to the outdoor area. It was decorated with hanging lights and it just felt like summer and I loved it! Everybody was happy because obviously we were surrounded by yummy food. There was good music and vibes all around and I definitely had the time of my life. I was probably acting like a 5 year old child in a candy store because I was just so excited and very satisfied by the event coordination, vendors and food. I highly recommend you check out Lucky Rice here and attend one of their upcoming events, especially if you love food because I promise you won’t be disappointed.

    • Lemons are the best! They're so refreshing and I love putting them in water for the summer to stay hydrated. I can't wait to meet you!

    • Thank you love! Taking pictures of food is one of my favorite things to do besides eating them :)

  • Always down for free food & booze! And I actually eat pig ears fairly often! We have a dish in Barbados called "souse" and it can contain pig feet and/or ears. Glad you liked it!
