We are now in the second to last month of 2020 and what a crazy year it’s been! I know that a lot of us have been feeling like this year was a waste but being the positive person that I am, I always try to take something valuable from every situation. I also can agree with those who want the year to be over already, but I think there’s still a lot that can be accomplished within the next two months and there’s still the holidays to look forward to!
If you’re like me and have a smaller family, then you might not be excited for the holidays and I want to be honest that this time can be a bit depressing for me. However, knowing that we are gearing up towards Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am making efforts to prepare myself mentally and emotionally with some priorities and goals I have come up with for November. Before I share those, I want to revisit what I wanted to achieve in October.
One of my main goals last month was to do a fall activity, specifically pumpkin picking. Although, I didn’t actually go to a pumpkin patch, I did go to the Catskills and witnessing the fall foliage offered so much more than just going pumpkin picking. The colors were absolutely stunning and I felt liberated being close to nature and the crisp air. It has always been on my list and now that I have experienced it, I must say I want to incorporate it as a fall routine moving forward. My second goal was to capture NYC content and I have successfully done that when I visited the Empire State Building. You can actually see my photos and read about my experience in my previous post here. And my last goal was to be featured on someone else’s platform and I don’t think I 100% completed that in the way I planned. On the other hand, I did have my guests share my podcast on their social platforms over the last month and did have The Edge and The Empire State Building share my photos on their Instagram feed/ stories so I am satisfied with those results.
For November, I have four main goals which are:
How do you guys feel knowing that we now in November? I would love to hear a priority goal you want to achieve for this month 🙂
