I am seriously in shock as I am writing this post because I honestly can’t believe it’s already October! The exciting part is that we can finally welcome pumpkin spice everything and say hello to everything fall related 🙂 This is actually one of my favorite time of the year because there’s something so peaceful and beautiful about the changing leaves colors in addition to the cozy air that’s still bearable and breathable. I have a pretty busy month ahead so I am excited for all that’s to come!
Before we jump into my October monthly goals, I would like to reassess what my September goals were. Firstly, I wanted to get back to meditating and I have slowly started to incorporate that back into my routine. I am not doing it every morning as I had hoped for, but I do it when I feel like I need an aurora or mental cleansing. I find that when I wake up, I rush into my to do list and errands instead of taking a moment for myself. When I force myself to meditate, I am finally at peace and I want to make my mornings more relaxing. Perhaps I can wake up even earlier to give myself that extra time.
I have three books waiting for me that I still need to get to, but I did finish one read, which was William H. McRaven’s Make Your Bed. It was a quick read and I recommend this for those who are looking for an easy read, but with good information. And my third and last goal was to take NYFW easy and your girl did just that. I actually didn’t attend any shows this year because I really wanted to prioritize my own schedule. I did attend some events and it was fun to reunite with those that I haven’t seen in a while.
For the month of October, I have come up with the below three goals:
Writing these goals always helps me become more focused on my priorities and more aware of the significance of time and makes me reflect more on how I want to utilize my time. I would love to hear what your main goals are for October!
