Primark x CFW NYC

*This post is brought to you by Primark and Her Campus Media

Fall is here and if you’re like me, that means it’s time to add some new pieces to your wardrobe as we transition to chillier temperatures. I am making a trip to Primark’s staten Island location (2655 Richmond Avenue) and I am planning to do a quick shopping haul for all my essentials. If you’re not familiar with Primark, it is my favorite store in Europe because that’s when I first discovered it when I was studying abroad in London.

Primark operates over 330 stores in 11 countries and offers high quality fashion items for affordable pricing. I usually like to scope out what’s in store before I actually arrive so I have an idea of what to pick out. I can spend hours at Primark, so it’s always better to have a list of what you are looking for, which makes the shopping experience smoother and easier. After looking at the new arrivals, and their Instagram account, I’ve decided to go for the below styles:

  • Off the Shoulder Sweaters: These are great to pair with both denim and skirts and can be worn for weekdays and weekends.
  • Skater Skirts: I am a fan of wearing sweaters with skater skirts because I think it’s such a great “off duty” look. You can also dress it up or down depending on what kind of boots you wear.
  • Crossbody Bags: A woman can never have too many crossbody bags. I normally go for this style when I want to run errands and don’t want to carry too much.
  • Bootie Heels: Fall is never complete without bootie heels, so these are top of my priority list. I love to also get different colors including black, brown and even burgundy as they are perfect for the fall.
  • Wrap Dresses: I like to still incorporate dresses into my wardrobe in the fall and the best way to do is is to pair them up with tights and knee high boots or booties.

I decided to add those items to my shopping list because they are fashion forward and effortlessly chic which describes my style perfectly. The best part is that you can mix and match and layer up as we all know it starts to get colder during this time of year. Primark is also a great destination to shop for school and I am also planning to wear the items that I will pick out for College Fashion Week. Make sure you follow me on Instagram to see the outfits that I have picked out and what I end up wearing!
