One of the best things about being a blogger is collaborating with brands. Nowadays on social media, you see a lot of people post pictures with products to raise brand awareness, but unfortunately, sometimes the influencers don’t actually believe or use the products themselves. As for me and I am speaking for myself only, I selectively choose with brands I want to work with because I believe in being transparent with my followers about what products I actually like and use.

I decided to collaborate with Same Sky because they are an amazing company that is dedicated to empowering women and I think there’s nothing more beautiful than having a philanthropic aspect, initiative and mission linked to a company. The company’s mission can be summarized by their quote below:

As you can see, there is meaning behind the bracelets. Not only is it a beautiful piece of handcrafted jewelry, but the proceeds are reinvested to train and employ more artisans in need. I was delighted to receive my gold jewelry for several reasons. For one, it matches my style! I love gold and I love simple, classic pieces. It’s also delicate, and I can tell that it was made with careful attention and love. I can’t help, but get the feeling of appreciation and want to treasure it.

Overall, I think it’s important to support organizations that do good deeds and I know some people don’t think about philanthropy when purchasing jewelry, but I encourage you to check out SAME SKY.
