SPRING FASHION PICKS

I can’t believe how fast the year is going by and that it is finally spring again. I love changing up my wardrobe this time of year and start wearing brighter colors and patterns that I don’t usually during the winter. This season is all about girly, bohemian looks with dainty pastels and soft textures. I have rounded up some of my favorites to share with you so be sure to let me know your favorites!

1. Espadrilles: Espadrilles have made such a splash this season and I have seen so many different styles of them all over blogs and Instagram. They are so easy to slip on and are comfortable to walk in, so it’s unsurprising why so many people have made them a staple for the season. I have already picked up some for myself and I absolutely adore them! I love how they give me a little bit of height without having to put on heels. You can also take them on vacation and walk all day without feeling any discomfort.
   
2. Woven bags: Also known as the “basket” bag trend, this structured piece is such a statement piece for the spring and summer. The material has been styled into totes, bucket bags, and crossbody bags. Whatever size or style you prefer, you can find one that matches your tastes and preferences. This is the ideal bag to take along with you to the beach or picnic especially once the warmer weather sets in. So many fashion icons such as Gigi Hadid have already hopped onto this trend, so be sure to pick one up!
3. Midi Dresses: I absolutely love that the midi dress trend is here to stay because it is such comfortable piece that you can wear all day. I never pass a spring/summer season without adding a new one to my wardrobe! This is the perfect piece to dress up or down without being too revealing. Because it hits between the knee and the ankle, you do not have to worry about sitting outside uncomfortably and you can just enjoy the warm weather. Throw on a denim jacket for a more casual look or some heels for a night out.
   
   
4. Polka Dots: Polka dots are such a cute trend for the spring. It made a huge breakthrough in the fall and winter and it looks like it is here to stay in the spring. There are so many different sizes of polka dots and colors that you can mix and match with. Polka dots are so feminine and fun and I can’t wait to style some outfits with them. I love wearing the print on skirts, blouses and dresses because it is so versatile and adds a cute flair to any outfit.
5. Ruffle blouses: Ruffle blouses add a little more flair to any outfit and can be paired with a skirt or jeans. You can find some gorgeous pieces with many different patterns and fabrics. If patterns are not for you, my favorite style is a clean, white ruffle blouse because it is such a stunning spring piece that screams elegance and femininity.
