STRIPED PARKA JACKET

For full disclosure, I do not own this beautiful Parka Jacket from BB Dakota, but I am literally obsessed with the design, print and style! It actually belongs to one of my friend and when I saw her wearing it, I knew I had to try it on and take some pictures. The black and white print, over-sized lapels, wool blend material and cozy hood makes for a unique outerwear.

It is extremely warm and it’s also the perfect length, so you can wear both jeans and skirts/ dresses and be covered. I only own black peacoats but I definitely am in the search for a bolder jacket like this one. Bright colored jackets or unique prints can add spice to a boring or simple outfit. Since we’re transitioning into spring, it’s great to choose statement coats because that’s what most people will see outdoors. I also think it’s important to find a coat that speaks for itself because you can count on wearing those selective items on days where you may not want to dress up.  I tend to go for the more stylish items and this is a piece that I would definitely consider adding to my closet!
