The essential ingredient in any skincare regime that will let your skin flourish despite our harsh living environments, is in fact your trusty moisturizer. Often neglected in daily care, and yet it has such a profound effect on nourishing your complexion, protecting it from dehydration in the sun and of course, preventing those early wrinkles!
On the other hand, when you skip slathering moisturizer on your skin daily, you risk premature wrinkles, uneven skin tone, plenty of irritation such as dry spots and itchiness, and of course, losing that protective barrier your skin desperately needs. If you are looking for a perfect pick for your skin type, here’s a list of top ten facial moisturizers you can expect to do wonders for your complexion!

Thank you for this post. I am still dealing with acne and I know I need to moisturize at my age. So I am anxious to try some of these products.

Definitely look into the ones that are catered to more acne prone skin!

Glad you're a fan of Lancome!
Moisturizer is one of my best friends, especially having such dry skin. It's nice to have a list of fresh, new ones I've never tried before. That Clinique Moisture Surge is next on my list to try!

Definitely let me know what you think of it!
I love that you mixed drugstore brands with high end department store brands for this post. I don't really think you have to pay a ton of money to get quality products so this is a great and thorough review. I've used many of these moisturizers before like Clinque, La Prairie, and Aveeno and there are some that I want to try like Drunk Elephant. I will purchase a new moisturizer soon since mine is running out and this post is very helpful. Thanks! xoxo, Christine

Thanks for this great list of moisturizers! I haven't tried any of those yet and can't wait to try at least one of them out. I love trying out new skincare products!

I love trying out new moisturizers as well! It's important to switch it up especially since our skin needs change due to the weather.
As a beauty and skincare junkie this was an extremely intriguing face moisturizing guide as I did think I had it all covered, but apparently there are still many brands out there for me to discover. However I love Clinique's products and it'll be hard to get me off those, but I'll try to actually have "an affair" with some of thse other brands as well to see if they're equally good. And thanks for having a guest blogger coming in introducing all these products for us! :)

I just started to have other people contribute to my blog. I think it's great every now and then to get another perspective and like you said, I love discovering new brands. But I also do believe that if something works for you, it's totally fine to stay loyal!
all of these moisturizers sound amazing! i haven't tried any of them surprisingly so will definitely have to look into them. the lancome one looks really promising! xo, sharon

Yes, I want to try some of these as well especially the Lancome one!
There are brands I recognize and some that are new to me :) I love Neutrogena face creams because they are affordable and they really work well! I'm using the one with the retinol and I love it!

Neutrogena is definitely a brand that I think a lot of people are familiar with and love since they're affordable!
I've been using the same moisturiser for years so I should probably shake things up with one of these! The La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream sounds like a pamper session!
