TRANSPARENCY CARDIGAN

Have you ever picked up one item of clothing and felt like you just found what’s been missing in your life? I experienced that moment when I put on this beautiful transparent long cardigan/ kimono style item from Cashmere Boulevard. I only own thicker cardigans for the fall and winter, but none that was summer appropriate. I will admit that you can get sweaty in this if you’re wearing it on a hot blazing day. However, it’s perfect for the more chillier days and even better during the night.

Throughout my one year of blogging, it has been difficult to find my style. I feel like I can pinpoint certain outfits or clothing pieces and say ‘yes that’s totally me’ or ‘no I can never pull that off’ but I’m not sure if I have a specific style and I’ve come to accept that that is perfectly fine! I am always trying to explore different options of clothing because I’m young and I’m at the point of my life where it’s okay to experiment with fashion.

As a blogger, I do think it’s important to have an identity but I also think it’s important to take your time and find what you like and what makes you feel beautiful and confident. I’ve recently started to buy more items that I don’t already own and are a little more out of my comfort. When I go to events, I sometimes like to stand out in my outfits so I think it’s great to have statement pieces as well as classic, basic items.

As mentioned earlier, the sheer cardigan is from Cashmere Boulevard and so is this velvet skirt which is the same style as the pink one in my earlier post. I am wearing basically the same accessories and shoes, except the outfit is different. Let me know where you find your inspiration and how would you describe your style?
