VBEAM PERFECTA AND OXYGENTIX FOUNDATION REVIEW

I have recently been taking my skincare more seriously and have been trying my best to keep my skin healthy, smooth and clear. A few weeks ago, I received the VBeam Perfecta treatment from Dr. Shafer’s office.

Dr. David Shafer is Double Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. At first, I was very hesitant because the office is associated with plastic surgery and that’s not what I wanted at all. However, after much research, I realized that the office offers other non invasive treatments such as VBeam Perfecta, which is a laser treatment to treat rosacea, redness, broken blood vessels and broken facial veins.

Dr.Shafer wasn’t there when I visited, but I was in the good hands of Graceanne Svendsen, who is a licensed aesthetician, certified laser technician and certified health coach with more than a decade of experience in the medical fields of plastic surgery, dermatology and the healing arts. She was very friendly and talked to me about the whole process, which lasted about 15 minutes. Although it was a bit uncomfortable at times, it wasn’t unbearable. Graceanne showed me my skin afterwards and I can see a noticeable difference as my skin felt smoother and my broken cheek capillaries were almost gone (you can view a glimpse of the treatment here).

After the treatment, Graceanne recommended the Oxygentix foundation, which has a natural aloe gel base with no heavy oils, alcohols or added water. The foundation comes in seven colors, which are suitable for every skin type. The Creme shade is the perfect match for me and I love that it’s lightweight, yet it has buildable coverage. The best part is that it doesn’t actually feel like foundation, but mirrors a BB cream instead. It is intended to cover and treat the skin and that’s a feature that I look for in foundations. If you want more information on all the benefits and ingredients of Oxygentix, you can find it here.

I look forward to seeing what other treatments Dr. Shafer’s office has to offer because I think it’s important to look after your skin. It’s always great to meet up with a licensed aesthetician who can study your skin and recommend certain treatments or products. I do hope to get my skin at a point where I don’t have to wear any make up and I think this is a great first step. Let me know if you’ve ever had any skin laser or treatments and what your thoughts are on them.
